Is it bad that the smell of something burning in the toaster oven (I think a stray shred of mozzarella) made me feel warmer today? I hate the word frigid, but it's the best way to describe how the wind has made the air outside, and I feel like it has lowered the temperature in the house a good five degrees.
Now that I think of it, it wasn't so much the burning smell, but my imagination wondering how nice it would feel to have a small fire going and the pup snuggled at my feet.
What's that? I've got a fire machine already in my kitchen? A stove? Right...
I do believe some baking is in order.
Did you try the chicken parm? If so how did it work out?

I did try the chicken parm last Friday and it was awesome. The breading technique was especially good for a nice rich taste. I used thin tenders and they fit perfectly into bread for sandwiches. I ate way too much. Thanks so much for the tips, and sorry it took so long to let you know. This week just flew.
